Sandström/Bonanomi/Vanthoor third in Q2 at Spa 24h

Sandström took the third position in Q2 late last night at Belgian Spa. Only 0.292 after the fastest R8 with multiple Le Mans-winner Tom Kristensen.
Edward Sandström drove Q2 in last nights darkness. That suits the accustomed 24h-racedriver.
– I like darkness, then you really need to have full focus, and the speed feels even faster…
Edward Sandström races as a factory driver for Audi together with team mates Marco Bonanomi and Laurens Vanthoor in the belgian top team WRT, the car is an Audi R8 LMS ultra. This afternoon at 15.35 the Super Pole that decides the final starting order starts.
It is not yet decided if Sandström/Bonanomi/Vanthoor get to drive the Super Pole.
– I got stuck in traffic in Q1, so unfortunately our times put together were just enough for 21:st position, but one of the other cars have problems and maybe they can´t drive the Super Pole. So maybe we´ll get the chance.
